Begin with the end in mind,

See death as the final destination

Someone who long for a rejuvenation of childhood innocent in this world of hypocrisy and irony... Someone who long for a touch of love in this cold and heartless strange land... Like a fallen angel, heaven seems to be so near, yet so far from me... Begin with the end in mind. Think death as the destination, As we edge closer to it everyday I love you

lim

This is a letter i got from Lim Kit Siang's blog:

I have been a BN supporter for as long as I can remember (I am now 43). I took the brickbacts in the days when as a Chinese to side with BN (MCA) was to be ridiculed and scorned by my community and never regretted my allegience.

The recent Sarawak Election was the first that when DAP won seats, I didn’t grudge you the wins.

Why?

U may call me dumb but here are the things that I can accept as a patriot and Anak Malaysia who believes in “tumpah darah” for my country.

1. I can accept the petrol price hike.
2. I can even accept the electricity price hike.
3. I can accept the “NEP” in my youth for the future of my children. But not again please.
4. I can even accept that my pay is shrinking. I can “suffer” for the good of my country as long as we “suffer” together.

Now this is what I cannot accept:

1. I cannot accept that the good backbencher club President had to resign for doing the right thing. I want all my leaders to be like him, “Principled.”

2. I cannot accent that the Jasin MP did what he did and seem to be getting away with it. What is worse is he thinks he did nothing wrong.I am ashamed of leaders like him.

3. I cannot accept the mob rule in Penang recently. I believe in fighting fair. Cannot win by “threats and violence”. What is worse is there were BN people there and people who claim to be religious. Shameful. Especially so when my PM preaches Islam Hadhari, tolerance and consultation. There was another mob, albeit smaller one in Kelana Jaya a few months ago. All this I cannot take.

So wake up BN. I am sorely disappointed. I truly believed that there was going to be a change for the better. And I am still hoping. A country where fairness, tolerance and oneness would make us proud to be Malaysians.

So Mr. Lim, I cannot wish the DAP the best for I don’t support the DAP but I wanted to wish you who are in the opposition to do the right, principled and “one Malaysia” decisions. God bless you.
